Zambia’s promising youngster, Sydney Siame is gradually living up to the hype, with the 19-year old storming to a World Leading (WL) time of 9.88s to win the men’s 100m at the All Comers Meet held on Sunday in Lusaka. It was a show of intent from Siame who further underlined the immense potential he had displayed since winning the Youth Olympics GOLD three years ago in Nanjing, and now he has set a new National Record (NR), eclipsing his previous Personal Best of 10.18s.
